Student Access To Meals

In order to ensure that all students have ample time to obtain and eat their meals, Food Services has developed resources to assist Principals. For information and tools for planning meal periods and serving times, see below.

    Meal Applications

Please visit our Meal Application page for sample applications, tutorials, and brochures: Meal Applications

If you need to order Meal Applications, please contact your cafeteria manager.

    After School Programs

    After School Supper Program
This "first of a kind" supper program is being offered in over 500 schools across the District and is open to all students under the age of 18. Students are not required to be enrolled in either the school or the school's after school program in order to receive the supper.

    After School Programs Resources

    After School Snack Program

Under the National School Lunch Program, snacks can be served to children after their regular school day ends. The afterschool program must be organized, structured, supervised and approved by the district in order to receive snacks from Food Services.

    Competitive Foods

Both Federal regulations and LAUSD Board Policy govern competitive Food Sales within the district. These policies exist in order to help ensure that we are creating healthy food environments on our campuses. If you would like assistance in creating a healthy food environment, please view the resources below and contact your AFSS for more resources and materials.
