  • The Board of Education approves the OIG's FY 2018 Work Plan.

    On June 13, 2017, the Board of Education approved the OIG's FY 2018 Work Plan. The Work Plan describes the work that the OIG plans to undertake in the upcoming fiscal year.

  • The Board of Education approves an updated Charter for the OIG.

    On October 13, 2015, the Board of Education approved an updated Charter for the Office of the Inspector General. The Charter for the OIG outlines, among other things, its purpose, responsibilities, authority and relationship to the Board of Education.

  • LAUSD makes it easier to report fraud, waste and abuse.

    On October 14, 2014, the Board of Education moved to place a hotline button on the District website’s homepage that directs visitors immediately to the Office of the Inspector General’s (OIG) Fraud Hotline.
